Augmenting your cheekbones can provide you with a mid-face lift, define your cheeks, help correct facial asymmetry, and restore the youthful volume back to your face.
How does dermal filler help?
With ageing, weight loss, or those who lack cheekbone definition, dermal filler can be used to augment and enhance the cheekbones by adding or restoring lost volume. As the cheekbones effectively support the rest of the face, filler to the cheeks can also help to lift and define other areas, reducing ageing shadows that can appear in your mid-face.
Cheek filler can also be used to correct facial asymmetry, such as when one side of the face appears higher/lower, more defined, or lacking in volume.
When will I see the effects?
Rejuvenation results from dermal filler in the cheeks and cheekbones are seen instantly! There may be a slightly "fuller" appearance immediately after injection of the filler due to natural swelling, which resolves after a few days.
How long does Cheek & Temple filler treatments last for?
Filler in the cheeks and temple regions can last 18 to 24 months. The dermal filler s a non-permanent treatment, and can also be reversed/dissolved if needed.
Is it painful?
No. You may feel a pinprick sensation as the skin over the nose to mouth area is injected. We apply numbing cream beforehand to reduce the sensation and the filler is integrated with Lidocaine which provides additional conform and numbing properties.
How long is recovery time?
More or less immediate recovery —However. As a needle is used to inject dermal filler into the areas, there is a chance you may get a small amount of bleeding/bruising, which usually resolves after a few days. Full recovery is expected at 14 days.
